Another likely candidate would be the moment the movers came and took all our stuff to storage. We had to break out the camping chairs and repurpose a spare box into quite a lovely coffee table. An being who she is, could not resist the urge to do some scaping. Hence the plant and candle. I will admit that the plant does make the room. Thankfully we have the bed for another week, after that we will need to break out the sleeping pads and bags.
If it was not either of those two very likely candidates, it might have been saying goodbye to my parents. They are leaving for their own travels and will miss our departure on the 29th. Spending the past three years near them back in my hometown of New York was a great gift. It was sad seeing them off. Thankfully we will get to see them again in California. Whatever the exact moment, An and I have a definite look of deer in caught in headlamps. I guess all I can do now is lean back in my comfortable camping chair, put my feet up on our box, and enjoy a beer.
