A California-born, Brooklyn native, An moved to NYC shortly after college having visited the city exactly one time the year before. That move, having secured in advance only an apartment in Queens and a handful of job interviews, was one of the best decisions she'd ever made. The city proved to be an excellent backdrop for her innate wanderlust, and she enthusiastically took to walking all the streets, drinking all the drinks, eating all the food, and seeing all the life she could. She adopts a similar attitude in all of her travels, which have included Europe, Africa, and Colombia. A notorious clotheshorse, An is incapable of storing all her clothes in an average-sized closet (much to George's chagrin), but is surprisingly adept at living off of two pairs of pants and a handful of shirts for weeks on end. Her most-valued possessions while traveling are a pack of baby wipes and a prescription for Cipro. She is slowly attempting to learn how to ride a motorcycle in NYC and has quickly realized the importance of using one's horn. After almost a decade in the city, An is very excited to embark on this extended adventure and looks forward to finding a bike that can accommodate the challenge of her abbreviated in-seam.
